Although Yomi only knew them as a child, she and her parents had a loving familial relationship. They seem to have had meals together when possible. Yomi's parents loved her enough to scrimp and save money to leave her enough of an inheritance to live a decent life. While Yomi was in elementary school, her parents died impoverished to fulfill their goal. Her parents' deaths deepened Yomi's hatred for the rich and luxurious since her parents' sacrifices could've been avoided if they weren't impoverished to begin with.

Yomi gives speeches towards Hikage about how and why bean sprouts are the gods' food, and Hikage listens to it all, which shows that they too have a good bond between them.

Mirai calls Yomi "Sis" due to Yomi's kind gestures and positivity she gives towards Mirai. Both have a nice relationship with each other throughout the timelines.

The two girls had such a loathsome rivalry back then when the Crimson Squad was enrolled in Hebijo Academy, especially Yomi. Because she was born in the slums, Yomi was fueled with anger and hatred towards the rich and the luxurious, and it grew when she first met Ikaruga, who was more high-class than her. She vowed that she would beat Ikaruga to an inch of her death and make her know how it feels to live in the merciless slums. But when she was about to be presented the chance, she learned that Ikaruga was too born in the slums and was adopted by a high-grade wealthy family. Because of that, her hatred and jealously for the luxurious weakened greatly, but she still holds onto them for quite a bit. Soon later after their commotion, Yomi and Ikaruga slowly started to become friends, and later in the series, became the best of friends with one another, showing each other kindness and respect. Yomi still has a strong rivalry with Ikaruga even now, but not as strong as their new fond relationship.

The two have a positive relationship as established at the end Minori's shinobi girls heart story in Shinovi Versus, in which she had been looking for new candy having eaten all of her previous candy the day before. Minori eventually ran into Yomi during her search and approached her for candy. Yomi gave Minori a chocolate covered bean sprout which at first Minori didn't know if she should eat until Yomi insisted on eating it. After doing so Minori took a liking to it saying it was the yummiest yummy ever. Yomi in turn took an instant liking to Minori saying she finally found a sister in sprout-itude.
