The fighting style is how your character generally fights.
I personally love Ryouki's one, as it is strong, fast, and versatile (I don't know of many characters that gained advantage on me with Ryouki!), and satisfying.
How about you?

Katsuragi and Ayame's fighting style suits me perfectly their attacks are medium to fast and are strong I can fight fast and rush the enemy like I tend to do most of the time (though other games are teaching me that's not always smart to do) also the fact that you can charge all of Katsuragi's ground attacks helps too I didn't really get the timing at first but charge attacks are always great to have for the extra little bit of damage even if they are a bit slower. I also enjoy the fact that you can interrupt your own combo with charge attacks at any time. Overall they just fit how a play/fight in general.
Ah ah, you're more about berserking. ;)
I always liked to play quite cautiously, have a AoE attack to destroy my surrounding enemies, and a ranged attack to annoy them, or buy me some time to think a bit, while having fair strengh and speed. Ryouki perfectly fits the role.
Her ranged attack (in SKBRN, in SKEV it's not the same deal) allow me to supress my enemies with some bouncing buckshot rounds flying across everywhere, same with the light NA. Then I charge to do the more damage I can in a single strike, launch a Heavy NA that the group feels. When I need some "extra police violence" (personal joke) to deal with my enemies, the second mode bring me everything I need to take out groups. I try to do the more damage while taking the less.
I am more of a gendarme, a supression guy.
Well, I used Frantic mode only a few times. The first times it’s more by principe, as I didn’t want to start the mission with a naked character, now it’s because I am not fan of sacrificing my resistance for damage.

I don't mind the nudity for me my Vita is about being free from standards and judgment of others and to just have a place for adult games and to do what I want. For me as long as I play careful and watch my health I'm fine the majority of the time especially at level 50. With the last upgrade to Frantic increasing the range of your Burst and doing chip damage at your health instead of taking a good chunk out of it really helps if you can max it out. Having Hyper Armor on your Shinobi Transformations once you max out that bar is extremely helpful it's almost like you're always in a Frantic state except your defense is further boosted. It's a boost on top of a boost and it can get a little ridiculous.
I'm actually not quite sure about this but do you think the way the game calculates the multipliers is by taking your character's current attack and defense and doubling them for Shinobi Transformations and maybe tripling them for Frantic? I'm not quite sure how it works but I'd love to find out.
It may work by using a “defence” stat, maybe, that the lower it is, the more a damage is multiplied. In my opinion it is a multiplier but I can’t prove this currently.
