Areas[]

Temple Grounds[]

Sensoji Temple Grounds

The area where the Buddhist temple is located in Asakusa. When approaching the temple, visitors first enter through the Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), the outer gate of Sensoji Temple and the symbol of Asakusa and the entire city of Tokyo.

Nakamise[]

A shopping street of over 200 meters leads from the outer gate to the temple's second gate, the Hozomon. Alongside typical Japanese souvenirs such as yukata and folding fans, various traditional local snacks from the Asakusa area are sold along the street.

Appearances & Themes[]

Game Stage Name Theme Audio

(浅草商店街, Asakusa shōten machi, Asakusa Shopping District)
Shop District Rampage
The stage is set at dusk and has three areas: the gate, the street, and the temple. The gate is a road intersection that is right before the gate that leads to the nakamise shopping street which contains a variety of shops (most of which are closed). At the end of the street there is a second gate leading to the temple grounds. Despite there being three areas to this stage, the player actually never visits more than one area at a time during any mission set here.
