The Training Field is an option in Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson to learn the basics or practice.
It is selected from the Mission menu and has four options. They all take place on the Training Field map.
Basic Training[]
This lets you run through the basics of combat with a single character.
You are provided with a series of tasks and enemies to perform them on.
Co-Op Training[]
This lets you run through the basics of combat with two characters with the Pair Battle mechanics.
You are provided with a series of tasks and enemies to perform them on.
Free Training[]
This is the option for freeform practice. You spawn into the map with infinite health and Ninja Arts, and from the pause menu you can choose to add any of the following Enemies to the arena to practice on:
- Ball Puppet
- Skull
- Baby Spider
- Tree Spirit
- Enhanced Puppet
- Lesser Shinobi: Kunai
- Lesser Shinobi: Bow & Arrow
- Lesser Shinobi: Bombshell
- Shinobi
- Greater Shinobi
- Flying Shinobi
- Red Oni
- Blue Oni
- Female Spider
- Crab Madame
- Snake Lady
- Snow Maiden
- False Wall
- Flower Sprite
- Scarlet Homura
- Scarlet Yomi
- Scarlet Hikage
- Scarlet Mirai
- Scarlet Haruka
- Yōma General - 1st Seat
- Yōma General - 2nd Seat
- Yōma General - 3rd Seat
- Yōma General - 4th Seat
- Yōma General - 5th Seat

That encompasses all the common enemies and most of the humanoid bosses.
You are also able to access the Character Select and Equipment Select from the pause menu, though changing anything will reload the stage.
