Seimei(清明) is a playable character from the Senran Kagura video game series. She makes her debut in Senran Kagura: New Wave. In a nutshell, she sleeps a lot. She placed her trust in a vision she had and enrolled at Hanzō Academy to walk the path of a ninja. She hates noisy people. Wielding a giant rocket launcher that can simultaneously fire all barrels, she has a very flashy fighting style.
Appearance & Personality[]
She has short, boyish cut light blue hair with two large, curled cowlicks. Her eyes are blue. She is normally depicted in a mint pair of pajamas with three black buttons on the torso. They are worn with light brown slippers.
Seimei normally appears sleepy with an expression of lifelessness or curiosity. She is often found asleep or ready to fight at a given notice.
Background[]
She tragically lost her family and pet dog, which motivated her to attend Hanzō National Academy with the intent of avenging her lost loved ones.

- Seimei's name (清明) means "Clear and Bright", "Pure Light" or "Pure and Clear" which is the name of the 5th of the 24 solar terms. It begins about April 5th, which happens to be her birthday.
- Seimei also shares the same birthday as Yozakura.
- When sleeping, Seimei sometimes dreams of future events with great accuracy. Sometimes she may even suddenly pass out during a mission and have one of her premonition dreams.
- Seimei's rocket launcher is inspired by the M202 FLASH, an American multishot incendiary rocket launcher.
