The Mikagura Sisters (also just called the "Mikagura" faction sometimes) are a faction introduced in Senran Kagura: Estival Versus. In that game they are a sub-faction that is part of the Overseers of the Festival, but would be their own faction in Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash and the mobile games.

They often collaborate with other characters to have the standard five-person group. In Estival Versus is was with Sayuri and Ryōki. In the Senran Kagura: Shinovi Master -Tokyo Yōma-hen- anime and in Senran Kagura: New Link, Kagura and Naraku join the faction.

The three main members are all sisters who are shrine maidens from the same village as Naraku.

Distinguishing Characteristics

In addition to being sisters and shrine maidens, all three sisters are themed around an aspect of festivals.

All three of them also have the kanji for "Flower" in their names.

The exceptions are the late-joiners Kagura and Naraku who don't follow the name or thematic convention,  and only come from the same village.

Trivia

  • The faction emblem is the kanji for "Flower" with a circle around it. This kanji appears in all three of the sisters' names.
  • Mikagura could be loosely translated as "Kagura's Shrine Maidens." After Kagura and Naraku join, all five get new shrine maiden outfits as their team outfit.
  • In New Link, this faction uses Kagura's symbol as their faction emblem.
  • All five members are actually from the Goshin Village in Timeline 1, but are currently residing at an unknown shrine in the world of Timeline 2.
