Family[]
Hanzō[]
Asuka is Hanzō's granddaughter and heir, and admires his legendary legacy. She has learned her Sword and Shield philosophy from him, and she still regularly visits his sushi restaurant with her friends, where she can listen to his wisdom and stories while she eats his Futomaki rolls that she adores. Hanzō though sometimes uses Asuka as an opportunity to satisfy his perversion, from visiting her team during a bath to switching bodies with her in order to harass her friends such as in her EV SGH, with fallouts much at Asuka's expense.
Sayuri[]
Asuka's grandmother whom she hasn't seen for months before Estival Versus's events. She was particularly eager to have her grandma tell the purpose behind the festival, and has defeated her as Sayuri. Later, she would come to worry as the "Jasmine" form took a toll on her grandma's health. After the festival, it is implied that Sayuri is more protective and caring of her granddaughter.
Asuka's Parents[]
Asuka's parents are barely mentioned throughout the series, and only a good relationship can be assumed between them and their daughter.
Hanzō National Academy[]
Ikaruga[]
Ikaruga is her class's representative and part of the family Asuka sees the team as, but they have few interactions with each other. It's implied that Ikaruga likes to help Asuka improve as a shinobi, while Asuka admires her as a senior.
Katsuragi[]
While she looks up to Katsuragi as her senior, Asuka is a recurrent victim to her sexual harassment, seen as an easy target. But those frequent interactions remain good-hearted as Asuka doesn't mind them nor does she rebuff her.
Yagyū[]
There barely are interactions between Asuka and Yagyū, and so are merely friends and comrades willing to help each other out when needed. Asuka recognises Yagyū's skill as a shinobi that is.
Hibari[]
Just like Yagyū, there barely are interactions between Asuka and HIbari ever since Burst. They are little more than friends and comrades ready to help each other.
Ayame[]
Asuka and Ayame seem to have a stable relationship. They are not seen interacting with one another by themselves but they've both considered each other friends and comrades that help out one another in battle.
Homura's Crimson Squad[]

Asuka's main rival throughout the series, Asuka is always motivated to fight Homura no matter what. While their rivalry was heated at first due their respective alignments, Asuka being a good shinobi whereas Homura was an evil shinobi, the two were able put aside their differences and work together against Dōgen and the Yoma. This led to Asuka acknowledging Homura as her friend, however Homura still sees Asuka as her eternal rival.
Gessen Girls Academy[]
Yumi[]
Asuka's second main rival and friend. The two seem to have different ideologies on being a "good shinobi" as Yumi was taught that good must eliminate all the evil shinobi while Asuka believes that not all are evil and can be saved. The two became close friends after their battle, though still see each other as rivals.
