Profile[]
Appearance[]
TBA
Personality[]
At first glance Amane seems calm and reserved. However she holds great contempt towards Hanadome Village's strict rules, partly because they got her mother killed. She wanted nothing more than to be free of her involuntary servitude to the village, to the point of attempting to release Toki.
When she leaves the village to start a new life at the Shinobi Base, she acts like an overgrown child who cares more about amusing herself and stuffing her face with tasty food than training.
Background[]
Amane is a descendant of Mizuki and thus, her family is expert at making barriers. Because of the village's strict rules, only one shinobi is allowed to fight any threat that harms the village, in order to prevent blood from being spilled and release Toki's seal. Amane's mother was forced to fight on her own against a bunch of evil shinobi who wanted to invade the village. She succesfully fend them off, but at the cost of her life.
Amane was devastated and realized she didn't want to stay in a place so restricted that didn't allowe her to have freedom. Thus she came up with the plan to release Toki in order to be free.
Story[]
Senran Kagura: New Link[]
Kagan Arc Their first mission is to infiltrate the mansion of the Kagan Clan in order to get a certain old book for Toki. Amane put a barrier in order to avoid being detected, but they still ran onto Hibari, Yagyū and Haruka. At first Amane had no interest in fighting Haruka, leading to the latter to say "seems you have no intention to fight". Unfortunately, this triggered Amane, who absolutely hates being told what to do. Days later, Amane and Kazakiri decide to ambush Tohno Village, although they're stopped by Hiyori and Ui before they can do any harm. On the way back, Toki realizes Amane and Kazakiri are conflicted about having to fight their old friends and tells them to go back to them while she destroys the Shinobi world alone. However, they decide to stay with her. Meanwhile, Kazakiri is becoming more mean-spirited and unstable due to her growing envy towards Hibari. Amane tries several times to reassure her that she doesn't need Kagan to be strong, but it goes on deaf ears. Later Amane and Kazakiri ambush Hibari, Yagyū, Haruka, Ui and Hiyori into a blood barrier. While Kazakiri fights against Hibari, Amane fights Haruka. Haruka wins and demands to know why Amane is so hostile towards her. She's rather apalled to find out she accidentally triggered Amane back at the Kagan Clan mansion. Amane also tells Haruka about her past, the death of her mother and her desire to be free. Sympathizing, Haruka offers to let her joing the Shinobi Base and be friends. After Kazakiri's fight with Hibari, she and Amane decide to change sides and join the Shinobi Base. Together with Ui and Hiyori, they help in the final battle against Toki. Back at the Shinobi Base, Amane, Ui, Kazakiri and Hiyori form a faction named Amagi Sealing Congregation, with a redeemed Toki as their leader. Character Story She also acts jealous towards Yozakura, possibly due to her connection to Hiyori and sharing the same little sister. Although Amane tries to get along with her for the Instructor's sake. Later, she realizes Kazakiri doesn't want to open up to the girls due to feeling shame for her actions in the Kagan Arc, so she asks help from the Instructor and Hibari in order to bring her out of her shell. The idea they came up with was for Kazakiri to fight all the girls at the Shinobi Base one after one, hoping it'll ease her guilt a little. Surprisingly, it works.
